When Dr. Karl Lamb graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO in January 1980, he took an associateship with Dr. James Ploch in Evansville, IN. Dr. Lamb started his practice a little over a year later and has now been in practice for 34 years. He started post-graduate classes in chiropractic orthopedics and became the first, and only, Board Certified Chiropractic Orthopedist in the Evansville area in 1994.
In 1995, he was appointed to the post-graduate faculty of Logan College. Dr. Lamb became a Fellow of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists in 2001. To further expand his knowledge, Dr. Lamb went back to Logan College for nutrition classes, taking 300 hours to become Board certified in Clinical Nutrition in 2009. He has been published in peer-reviewed national journals and his papers have been cited in textbooks. Dr. Lamb also has experience in functional nutrition treatment programs and as a public speaker for a number of issues.
The focus of Dr. Lamb’s practice is on finding the problem, fixing the problem and getting patients back to their normal activities as quickly as possible. His orthopedic training has helped him be able to do this consistently. Dr. Lamb has coupled what he knows about nutrition to further enhance patient recoveries. Treatment programs are tailored to the needs of each patient because each patient’s condition is unique. His years of experience have helped him refine his treatment procedures for better and faster outcomes.
